  The Moroccan autonomy initiative for the Sahara “is not in contradiction with the principles in Morocco, such as Islam, the monarchy and the territorial integrity” underlined the Jordanian journalist /editorialist Sultan al – Hattab.



 The  Sahara issue becomes “chronic” since the green march in 1975, and also more complicated thinks to “the tense relationship” between  Algeria and Morocco, in fact the latter  “ did not expect that the Algerian position would be as rigid and  stubborn” according to the journalist, in wrote in  a column appeared on the pages of the well-known newspaper “Alrai”

 The Algerian attitude “pushed equally towards the persistence of the problem, which made several parties paid the price, including Sahraouis themselves who have been suffering because of the confiscation of their willingness, while they have opted for the unity of the Moroccan territory”, added al-hattab who reported a debate  which has taken place in a recent meeting of the Jordanian party “arrissala”about the experience of democracy in both kingdoms, attended by the   Moroccan ambassador  Mr Lahcen  Abdelhak

 The writer noted that this situation is paralysing efforts made by Morocco for the reintegration of Ceuta and Melilla within the national integrity

 The Jordanian writer recalled that Morocco managed to “reconcile with itself, and the historical reconciliation with the opposition» adding that  “ it is the state  which led such an action within the framework of a united Moroccan family, and under a new reign”

 During the meeting organized by the “Arrissala” party the Moroccan ambassador in Jordan explained that the Kingdom which led the process of reconciliation with the past, has fixed as a priority” the rehabilitation of the citizen in his rights, and the promotion of the human being through development and participation, in order to be the master of his destiny, and a source of legislation

 Mr Abdelhak insisted on the specificities of the democratic experience of each country, has equally recalled the privileged relations which have always existed between Morocco and Jordan, and the moral support to any ordeal, mentioning among others , the participation to the green march of an official and popular Jordanian delegation led by  Ahmed Ellawzi , the former head of government and well- known political figure .

 The representatives of Jordanian parties, among them the general secretary of Arrissala , Hazem Kachou’a have paid an official visit to  Morocco from the second to the eleventh of January, where they have met several Moroccan national political parties
