President of the Croatian-Moroccan parliamentary friendship group, Domagoj Hajduković reaffirmed his country's support for the Moroccan autonomy plan and the Kingdom's efforts to reach a final and negotiated political solution to the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.

Under international humanitarian law, registration is a "fundamental" instrument of protection against military recruitment of children, as well as protection of access to fundamental rights, said, in New York, the Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Morocco to the United Nations, Omar Hilale.

Spanish university professor Rafael Esparza Machin stressed, on Thursday, during a teleconference organized by the Coalition for Autonomy in the Sahara (OSACO), that the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco in 2007 constitutes the only solution to resolving the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara within the framework of the sovereignty of the Sahara, Morocco and its territorial integrity.

The Paraguayan Chamber of Deputies reiterated its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative for the Sahara, which "is the only credible and serious basis for a definitive solution within the framework of Morocco's sovereignty and territorial integrity, in accordance with the parameters defined by the Security Council (SC) of the United Nations".

The Permanent Representative of Morocco to the United Nations, the ambassador Omar Hilale denounced, before the Security Council in New York the military enlistment of children by armed groups, calling it one of the "most serious" violations of human rights.
