Algeria is both a party and a problem in the issue of the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, said Peruvian expert in international relations Ricardo Sánchez Serra, stressing the diplomatic setbacks suffered by the Algerian regime and its creation, the polisario.

Algeria, through its stubborn refusal to allow a census of the population of the Tindouf camps on its territory, in defiance of all international resolutions, and its complicity with polisario militias, is entirely responsible for the diversion of humanitarian aid intended for the said camps, stressed, Wednesday in Geneva, the Moroccan delegation participating in the 78th meeting of the Standing Committee of the High Commissioner's Programme (UNHCR).

Several Italian news outlets have slammed Algeria over its direct responsibility in the human rights violations by the Polisario separatists in the Tindouf camps.

The matter of the diversion of humanitarian aid intended for the populations held against their will in the Tindouf camps on Algerian territory was officially referred to the European Parliament's Committee on Development (DEVE) on Thursday.

The independent Argentine news agency "Alternative Press Agency" highlighted the systematic looting by the Polisario and Algeria of humanitarian aid intended for the Sahrawi populations in captivity in the Tindouf camps, on the Algerian territory.
