The territorial integrity of the Kingdom is out of discussion, said, Monday in Rabat, the Comorian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in charge of the Diaspora, Dhoihir Dhoulkama, emphasizing that the Sahara is a Moroccan land.

The Italian press has devoted many articles to resolution 2548 on the Moroccan Sahara adopted on October 30 by the United Nations Security Council, highlighting the preeminence of the autonomy initiative and underlining the role of Algeria as a main party to this artificial conflict.

The United Nations Security Council welcomed, on Friday, the new impetus given by the round tables between Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania and the Polisario, thus endorsing these round tables as the only process aimed at achieving a consensual political solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

France expressed, on Friday, its concern about "the current obstruction situation" caused by the Polisario and its militias in the buffer zone of Guerguerat, warning that such a situation is likely to create tensions that would undermine the political process aimed at reaching a final solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Resolution N° 2548, adopted on Friday by the UN Security Council, once again confirmed Algeria as a main party to the process aimed at achieving " a political, realistic, pragmatic and lasting solution" to the Sahara issue, "which is based on compromise."
