The recognition by the United States of the sovereignty of Morocco over its Sahara and its support for the autonomy plan is a "just and necessary" position for the growth of Africa, indicated the director of the Latin America Africa Foundation for the 21st century, Cristina Orellana.

Spain should follow the path laid by US President Donald Trump by recognizing Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara in order to contribute to the stability of the western Mediterranean, underlines Spanish expert Pedro Canales.
