A group of several countries reaffirmed, Tuesday, before the Human Rights Council (HRC) in Geneva, its strong support for the territorial integrity of Morocco and the serious efforts made by the Kingdom for the settlement of the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.

Preparations for the 2020-2021 school year in the context of the spread of the new Coronavirus pandemic are taking place in “good conditions”, said the director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Laâyoune -Sakia El Hamra, Mbark El Hansali.

The Council of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab  meeting on Friday in an extraordinary session in September, approved a draft partnership agreement for the improvement of the urban landscape of the city of Dakhla.

The Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Regional Economic Watch Committee held a meeting on Friday to discuss self-employment and  various initiatives for the socio-economic integration of young people, in order to meet the challenges of employability in the region. 

The relevance of the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative as a realistic solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue has been highlighted by the president of the Latin American Center for Democracy Studies, Antonio Yelpi Aguilar, who underlined that this proposal is the only lasting solution to this artificial conflict.
