The Central African Republic renewed, on Wednesday before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative as a "solution of compromise" to the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Papua New Guinea on Tuesday praised the relevance of the Moroccan autonomy initiative, saying it is "a step in the right direction" Tuesday before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly in New York towards a "realistic, practical, durable and compromise-based solution" for the settlement of the Sahara issue.

Qatar on Thursday called before the 4th Committee of the United Nations General Assembly to reach a final settlement of the Sahara issue in the framework of dialogue and negotiation, so as to guarantee the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Several Latin American petitioners underlined before the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly the relevance of Morocco's autonomy plan as the best solution to end the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Bolivia said, at the Fourth UN Committee, in favor of a negotiated political solution to the Sahara issue, which is just, sustainable and mutually acceptable, in accordance with the UN Charter and the relevant resolutions of the the General Assembly and the Security Council.
