The Presidents of Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, Comoros, Azali Assoumani, and Sao Tome and Principe, Evaristo Do Espirito Santo Carvalho, have reiterated, before the United Nations General Assembly, their support for the exclusive political process of the United Nations with a view to reaching a negotiated and mutually acceptable political solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue.

Spain's acting Prime minister, Pedro Sanchez, defended, on Tuesday, the centrality of the UN in reaching a "just, lasting and mutually acceptable political" solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue.

UK’s Minister for the Middle East and North Africa and Minister of State for International Development, Andrew Murrison, reiterated Tuesday in Rabat his country's "full support" to the UN-led process aimed at reaching a solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue as well as to Morocco's "serious and credible" efforts in this regard.

Ecuador welcomed Morocco's serious and credible efforts to find a realistic solution based on compromise to the Sahara issue.
