Bahrain's minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed al-Khalifah, said on Saturday that his country supports Morocco's "serious and credible" efforts to find a political solution to the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, based on the autonomy initiative and related Security Council resolutions, and within the framework of the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Paraguay fully supports Morocco's territorial integrity, said, on Thursday at UN headquarters in New York, Paraguayan Foreign Minister Luis Alberto Castiglioni.

The Comoros president, Azali Assoumani, reiterated on Tuesday in New York, the commitment of his country to support the territorial integrity of the Kingdom on the regional and international scene.

A draft resolution by the European Parliament’s Committee on International Trade (INTA), drawn up in the context of the approval of the Morocco-EU farm agreement and the extension of tariff preferences to agricultural and fisheries products originating from the Sahara provinces, underlined the important development efforts being made in the Moroccan southern provinces and the need for the European Union to preserve the legal certainty of its trade agreements.

A British parliamentary delegation attended a presentation on the experience of this Commission at the headquarters of the Laayoune-Smara Regional Human Rights Commission on Thursday.
