Gambia reiterated Tuesday, at a meeting of the United Nations Committee of 24 in New York, its strong support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative as a viable solution to the Sahara conflict.

The Government of Barbados, which froze its recognition of the fake "SADR" in 2013, decided this Friday to withdraw its recognition of this entity.

Colombia welcomed, on Friday in Rabat, the Moroccan autonomy proposal to reach a solution to the dispute over the Sahara and lauded the fact that the different UN resolutions have recognized the "value of the serious efforts" made by Morocco on this matter.

Guinea reiterated, at the meeting of the United Nations Committee of 24 in New York, its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative, adding that this proposal is a “realistic and credible compromise framework" for the final settlement of the Moroccan Sahara issue.

Togo reaffirmed, before the United Nations Committee of 24, its support for Morocco’s autonomy plan in the Sahara region, noting that this initiative is a “necessary constructive approach” for the settlement of this regional conflict.
