The two Chambers of the Colombian Parliament have adopted a resolution expressing full support to Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over the Sahara.

The adoption, on Monday in Strasbourg, of the trade agreement and its protocol of application which allows the widening of the commercial preferences to fishery products and agriculture in the Sahara region is a new step in the rapprochement between Morocco and the European Union, said Abderrahim Atmoun, chairman of the Moroccan-EU joint parliamentary committee.

The European Parliament's Committee on International Trade (INTA) adopted, on Monday evening, by an overwhelming majority, the agriculture agreement between Morocco and the European Union

The European Union (EU) expressed, on Friday, its readiness to "contribute to measures that can create a positive climate" in the UN process on the Sahara issue, after the "momentum" given to this issue at the first round table meeting, held on Wednesday and Thursday in Geneva

Morocco will continue working with UNSG personal envoy for the Sahara Horst Koehler for the preparation of upcoming events with "the same serenity, positive spirit and clear frame of reference," said, Thursday in Geneva, foreign minister Nasser Bourita.
