Qatar on Thursday called before the 4th Committee of the United Nations General Assembly to reach a final settlement of the Sahara issue in the framework of dialogue and negotiation, so as to guarantee the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The Kingdom of Bahrain reiterated, on Tuesday evening in Rabat, its "continued" support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Grenada reiterated Monday its support for the autonomy plan presented by Morocco as a "viable" proposal for the settlement of the Sahara conflict, welcoming the development efforts undertaken by the Kingdom in its southern provinces in various fields.

The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) reaffirmed, Monday before the 4th Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, its "strong support" to the UN efforts aimed at reaching "a fair, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution" to the Sahara issue.

Morocco's autonomy plan has the merit of transcending traditional positions and meeting international standards for the delegation of authority to local populations, Guinea pointed out Monday before the 4th Committee of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
