A Chilean delegation composed of representatives of civil society and political actors welcomed on Friday in Laayoune progress made in socio-economic terms in the southern provinces of the Kingdom in recent years.

Following two decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in 2015 and 2016 on the association agreement and the Morocco-EU agricultural agreement the Luxembourg court objected July 2018 to Polisario's appeal for annulment of fishing agreement concluded in 2013 and which has just expired.

The Economic and Social Council of the United Nations unanimously rejected on Tuesday accreditation request for of pro-Polisario NGO "International Office for the Respect of Human Rights in Western Sahara", endorsing the recommendation of the UN NGO Committee to withdraw this request.
