Morocco reiterates its readiness to move forward in the implementation of UN resolutions

The Moroccan delegation attending the third round of the negotiation process on the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, held a working meeting Sunday night in New York with other members accompanying the delegation, during which it reaffirmed Morocco's desire to move forward in the implementation of UN resolutions aimed at achieving a political final solution to this dispute.

The third round of the UN-led talks on the Sahara kicked off on Tuesday morning in Manhasset, outskirts of New York, under the aegis of the United Nations.

The Moroccan autonomy initiative is an answer to the Security Council appeal for a political solution, underlined on Wednesday the deputy chairman of the CORCAS Mr Khaddar EL Moussaoui.

Mrs Gajmoula Ebbi, member of the Moroccan parliamernt and also Corcas, Mr Bellali Brahim corcas’s reporter of human rights commission, and Mr Sidati Ghallaoui former Polisario ambassador in Rome, Greece and Vatican have taken part of a press conference at the Palais des nations in Geneva, they have clarified in this press conference different aspects of the Sahara issue, and the autonomy project proposed by Morocco.
