Togo reiterates its unwavering stance in support of Morocco concerning the Sahara issue, said, on Wednesday in Rabat, Togo's foreign minister Robert Dussey.

Aggressive words towards Morocco by the Algerian Prime Minister on Sunday before the summit of the African Union, "are explained by despair and successive failures on the Sahara issue," said the academic and associative actor and member the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Lahcen Mahraoui.

History and reality on the ground feed the accuracy of the autonomy plan for the Sahara under Moroccan sovereignty, which enjoys a recognition of world capitals, are facts that "quash Algerian imposture regarding the irrefutable Morocco’s territorial integrity," said Sunday to the MAP Peter Pham, Director of the Africa Center, under the influential Atlantic Council.

Spain lauds serious and credible efforts made by Morocco to reach a solution to the Sahara issue, said the joint statement issued after the 11th Morocco-Spain high level meeting held on Friday in Madrid.
