Morocco has demonstrated spirit of initiative by proposing autonomy plan as a realistic compromise solution to resolve the Sahara conflict that has lasted for forty years, said Edward Gabriel, former US ambassador.

Spanish and Moroccan civil society activists denounced Thursday, November 12 in Madrid, the daily ordeal experienced by populations sequestered in Tindouf camps in the Algerian territory and abuses committed by  Polisario.

The royal speech by HM King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Green March in Laayoune, raised many reactions internationally.
