Morocco's tangible efforts to put an end to the artificial conflict over the Sahara were hailed by participants in a round table held on Friday in London by prestigious British think tank The Royal United Service Institute (RUSI).

Senegal reaffirmed, in New York, its full and unwavering support for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Morocco, as well as for the autonomy initiative presented by the Kingdom to achieve a solution to the regional dispute over the Sahara.

Lebanon's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, highlighted the deep-rooted and long-standing ties of brotherhood uniting his country with the Kingdom of Morocco and its people, reaffirming Lebanon's constant stance in favor of the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Japan welcomed, on Friday, “serious and credible Moroccan efforts” within the framework of the autonomy initiative to settle the Moroccan Sahara issue.

Nearly thirty British parliamentarians and lords sent a letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, David Cameron, in which they called, in a bipartisan initiative, on the British government to support the Moroccan autonomy plan “formally and without delay” as “the only solution” to the artificial dispute over the Sahara.
