In partnership with the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, OCAPROCE International is organizing Tuesday June 17 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva round table on the theme: "The role of women in the field of mediation and conflict resolution" on the sidelines of the annual session of the second regular of the UN Human Rights Council (10 - June 27).

The HRC opened yesterday the works of its June session, the second session of the year. It will take place in Geneva from June 10-27, 2014. Morocco participates with a delegation comprising several members including Moulay Ahmed Mghizlat and Mrs. Saadani Maouelainin.

A trip to and from the provinces of Laayoune and Smara was held Thursday as part of the family exchange program between Tindouf camps on Algerian territory and the Kingdom’s southern provinces by the High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).

The High Commissioner of the United Nations for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, said Wednesday in Rabat that the report on the effectiveness of human basic economic, social , cultural and environmental rights in the southern provinces , prepared by the Economic , social and Environmental Council (CESE ), "lays the groundwork for a real opening".
