Burkina Faso welcomed Monday before the United Nations General Assembly, the Moroccan autonomy initiative as a "credible and realistic alternative to a final solution."

Senegalese Foreign minister Mankeur Ndiaye reiterated his country's "support" to the Moroccan autonomy initiative for the Sahara under the Kingdom's sovereignty.

Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, expressed, here Thursday, his country's support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.

“Algeria is a direct party to the conflict over the Moroccan Sahara and should involve itself in the search for a solution to this problem,” said Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs Mbarka Bouaida.

Morocco on Thursday drew the attention of the UN Committee for the Rights of the Child on the plight of children in Tindouf camps, southwestern Algeria.
