Morocco Caucus at the U.S. Congress reiterated its strong support for the Moroccan autonomy proposal in the Sahara under Moroccan sovereignty, and recalled for " firm position " of the U.S. administration on this issue in a letter to President Barack Obama on the eve of the working visit on Friday  to the United States by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The Tuesday’s overwhelming vote in favor of Morocco , elected member at the United Nations Council Human Rights (HRC) for a three year term, is a " disavowal " of Morocco’s critics on the issue of human rights, said Omar Hilale, ambassador permanent representative of Morocco at the United Nations Office in Geneva.

By focusing on the Sahara issue, the Algerian diplomacy proves to become "an inaudible diplomacy, unable to see beyond the conflict with Morocco," asked the Algerian electronic paper "TSA" , wondering if this serves as " fig leaf " to this diplomacy.

The new development model for the southern provinces of Morocco developed by the CESE advocates a vision and processes that are more participatory, more inclusive backed by accountable governance.
