France reiterated Wednesday its support for "a just, lasting and mutually agreed solution under the auspices of the United Nations and in accordance with Security Council Resolutions" to the Sahara issue.

The British Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House, based in London) has welcomed today the approach adopted by Morocco to settle the Sahara issue based on socio -economic development.
