Algeria had breached its international obligations towards the detained population in Tindouf Camps 

  Mr. Ibrahim Bilali, member of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs said on Friday, October 6, 2006 at the United Nations in New York, that Algeria had breached its international obligations towards the population in camps of Tindouf, southern Algeria.

Algeria has caused damage in the various phases of the Sahara issue

CORCAS member condemned on Friday, October 6, 2006 before the Fourth Committee of the United Nations harm caused by Algeria during the different stages of the Sahara issue, as well as its responsibility for the current impasse.

 Morocco joined a new process that allows to treat all human rights issues 

Mr. Mohammad Moujahid, member of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs said Thursday, October 5, 2006 before the Fourth Committee of the Organization of the United Nations, that Morocco engaged thourouly in a process that allows address all issues related to human rights violations, especially through the establishment of the Advisory Council for Human Rights and Equity Body.

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs participates in the Fourth Committee of the United Nations in New York, held on October 4, 5, 6, 2006, by a delegation composed of : Gajmoula Bint Abi- Baba Ahl Miyara - Bilal Ibrahim - Mohamed Moujahdi.

The delegation of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, which had recently visited the United States, expressed its satisfaction over the "very positive" results for contacts and talks with officials and especially Congress members, media and social actors in Washington
