The Moroccan people celebrate, Monday, August 20 and Tuesday August 21, two major national events, the King and People’s Revolution and the Youth Day which marks the 49th anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

By celebrating on Tuesday, the 33rd anniversary of the recovery of the province of Oued Ed-Dahab, the Moroccan people commemorate a flagship date in the process of completing the Kingdom's territorial integrity and a historic moment that has shown, once again, symbiosis between the Throne and the people.

The porosity of the polisario to The Unity Movement for Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO), which operates in northern Mali, is a "real source of concern" for Spain which has repatriated its humanitarian workers from the Tindouf camps (south-eastern Algeria) due to "serious risks" of hostage-taking, the French speaking weekly, Jeune Afrique, said in its Monday edition.

The chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, received on Wednesday August 1st, 2012, at the Council’s headquarters in Rabat, a delegation from several Latin American countries, including one MP and several journalists.

France and Morocco have exceptional relations which transcend the cultural, historical and friendship ties between the two countries, French Interior Minister Manuel Vall said, recalling that HM King Mohammed VI was the first head of state to be received by French President François Hollande at the Elysée Palace.
