 Morocco joined a new process that allows to treat all human rights issues 

Mr. Mohammad Moujahid, member of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs said Thursday, October 5, 2006 before the Fourth Committee of the Organization of the United Nations, that Morocco engaged thourouly in a process that allows address all issues related to human rights violations, especially through the establishment of the Advisory Council for Human Rights and Equity Body.

The Moroccan community ling in the USA should play an important role in defending Morocco's territorial integrity and raising the awareness of the American officials, congressmen and the public opinion about the relevance of the autonomy project to settle the Sahara issue, said the chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid.

Council delegation meets with George Meek, member of U.S. Congress

During the meeting with Mr. George Meek, member of Congress, Khalihenna Ould Errachid said that the Council is interested in finding a solution to this conflict which has lasted for a long time, considering that the solution would end the suffering of Sahrawis, Mr. President also stressed the importance of a political solution negotiated, compatible and accepted by the United Nations.
