Okad: when the Moroccan monarch Mohammed VI came to the city of Laayoune on March 25 this year, issuing orders to release riot detainees, he gave a formal speech considered by political observers as a historic sign to solve the long Sahara dispute, proposing the possibility to entrench a culture of consultation between Moroccans and open wide doors for citizens to contribute to all issues relating to territorial unity of the Kingdom of Morocco. 

Corcas chairman: we won’t allow somebody harm autonomy

President of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid called on Algeria to abide by its commitments to the United Nations on the Sahara issue by not interfering in the region’s conflict, or putting obstacles in front of the international community and international efforts seeking to resolve this issue.

Algeria is asked to help find a solution to Sahara issue through easing dialogue with Sahrawis “ who live in its territory”, said the chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Sahran Affairs, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid in an interview published on July 4 in the Belgo-Moroccan website "wafin.be" ,  believing that autonomy will be beneficial for everybody.

Council Chairman calls upon Polisario to be politically realistic

Dutch speaking paper "De Standaard" said that the King entrusted the Royal advisory Council for Sahara Affairs with the mission to pave the way for autonomy.
