A new group of 50 Saharawis, including youths, women and children, arrived over the last two days in the southern region of Oued Eddahab-Lagouira, escaping the Tindouf camps (south-western Algeria) to join their motherland, Morocco.

Italy's Foreign Minister, Franco Frattini, described, on Wednesday, Morocco's autonomy initiative as "important".

A group of 57 Sahrawis joined their homeland, Morocco, after escaping the camps of Tindouf (southwestern Algeria).

Morocco closely follows the case of the senior polisario official, Mustapha Selma Ould Sidi Mouloud, who may face acts of retaliation by the polisario leadership when he returns to the Tindouf camps (south-western Algeria), said, on Thursday, Khalid Naciri Communication Minister and Government Spokesman.
