NGO, the "International Federation for Autonomy in the Sahara" (FIAS) on Tuesday voiced amazement at the "biased and subjective" nature of the latest report of Human Rights Watch (HRW) on human rights in Morocco's Southern provinces and in the Tindouf camps in South-Western Algeria.

A Sahara NGO drew the attention of the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, on the deportation of Saharawi children to Cuba and the sequestration of people and slavery practices in Tindouf camps, southwestern Algeria.

The investigation conducted under the supervision of prosecutors about an alleged abduction of a minor by police in Smara revealed that the story is fabricated and is the result of hidden parties working for separatists, according to an authorized source.

A Sahrawi association, on Monday, called for opening the Tindouf camps, southwestern Algeria, to NGOs and to all UN bodies, noting that it is "high time that Algeria took its responsibilities as a host country" of these camps.

The French-Moroccan Parliamentary friendship group reiterated, on Tuesday, support for Morocco's initiative to grant substantial autonomy to its Southern provinces as a fair, realistic and lasting solution to the Sahara's artificial conflict.
