Al Shirae: The Lebanese Magazine (Al Shirae) said that "whenever Morocco steps forward towards the unity of its territory in the issue of the Moroccan Sahara (..)the Algerian regime creates a problem that is not popular inside Algeria”.

The council is not an additional  administration

The 140 members of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas), created following the Royal Visit to the southern provinces (March 20-25), have a lot of work to do. Only a few days after its creation on March 25, following the royal speech in Laayoune, Corcas members should meet to formulate the rules of procedure and elect the office.

Al-Hayat paper: Sahara autonomy reflects traditional links between people and central authority

The London based newspaper "Al Hayat" said that autonomy in the Sahara proposed yesterday by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in his speech to the nation from the city of Laayoune "aims at keeping the traditional ties between the population and the central authority."
