The Belgian daily with large circulation “De Tijd” called on the countries of Europe to strengthen their relations with Morocco and to work for the settlement of the question of the Sahara to prevent “the disastrous plans” resulting from a “perfidious collaboration ” of what he calls “the new axis of chaos” which would destabilize the region and constitute “a direct threat to security in Europe”.

Germany reiterated, on Thursday, its support for the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara, presented in 2007, as a "serious and credible" effort by the Kingdom and a "very good basis for a solution accepted by the parties".

Italy commended Morocco's "serious and credible efforts" to find a solution to the Sahara issue, in the Action Plan for the implementation of the Multidimensional Strategic Partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Italian Republic, signed on Wednesday in Rome.

Brunei Darussalam supports the Kingdom of Morocco's territorial integrity over the Moroccan Sahara, the Second Foreign Minister of Brunei Darussalam, Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof, said on Monday in Rabat.

Switzerland has reiterated the importance of Morocco's serious and credible efforts aimed at a political solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue, based on compromise, commending "positively" the autonomy plan in the process of settling this issue.
