The House of Representatives and Slovenia's National Assembly affirmed the importance of reaching a political, realistic and Consensual solution to the Sahara issue, in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council relating to this question.

The Nordic Council has overwhelmingly rejected a draft recommendation to impose restrictions and measures on the import of products from the Moroccan Sahara.

The Vice President of El Salvador, Felix Ulloa, said on Monday in Rabat that his country has always backed the Kingdom's sovereignty over its southern provinces, reiterating El Salvador's support to Morocco's territorial integrity and autonomy plan as the "only solution" to this regional dispute.

Wallonia considers the autonomy plan, presented in 2007 by Morocco, as "a good basis" for a solution accepted by all parties regarding the Sahara issue, said Thursday in Rabat, the Minister-President of this Belgian region, Elio Di Rupo.

Several African ambassadors welcomed, Tuesday evening in Libreville, the progress made in the Southern Provinces of Morocco during a ceremony organized by the diplomatic representation of the Kingdom in Gabon in celebration of the forty-seventh anniversary of the Glorious Green March.
