The Union of Comoros reiterates its support for the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco as the only solution to the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara, Comoran Foreign Minister Dhoihir Dhoulkamal said on Wednesday.

Gambia reiterates its support for Morocco's territorial integrity and the autonomy plan proposed by the Kingdom as the only solution to reach a final solution to the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of the Republic of Gambia, Mamadou Tangara said Wednesday in Marrakech.

Under the Moroccan autonomy plan, the Sahara Region will be given more powers and competencies to manage its own affairs, said Marie Valerie Uppiah, head of the law department at the University of Mauritius.

Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, João Gomes Cravinho, welcomed the autonomy plan presented by the Kingdom to reach a solution to the dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, calling it a "significant" initiative and a "step forward".

The autonomy plan, presented by Morocco to end the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara, is "realistic, credible and achievable", and is a real lever for development, stressed the former Spanish Minister of Housing, Maria Antonia Trujillo Rincon.
