The Republic of Guinea welcomed, Monday in New York, Morocco's "serious" efforts in the search for a realistic, political and compromise-based solution to the regional dispute over the Sahara.

El Salvador expressed, in New York, its support for Morocco's efforts aimed at achieving a realistic, pragmatic and lasting political solution to the Sahara issue, in "full respect" of the integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom.

France reiterated Friday in New York its support for the Moroccan autonomy plan as a "serious and credible" basis to reach a political solution to the Sahara issue.

The resolution 2602 of the UN Security Council adopted on Friday, confirms the "continuum" of the roundtable process as the "one and only" framework for the settlement of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, said in New York, Permanent Representative of Morocco to the UN, Ambassador Omar Hilale.
