A delegation of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs headed by Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, held meetings on Monday and Tuesday in Madrid with many Spanish politicians, parliamentarians and trade union officials. Mr. Ould Errachid explained the philosophy behind the setting up of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs and its structure reflecting all Saharan society in addition to its duties, which are mainly based on developing an autonomy plan to put an end to this conflict which has lasted more than 30 years.

A delegation of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs , headed by Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, and Secretary-General, Mr. Maoulainain Ben Khalihenna Maoulainain and members of the Council arrived to on Wednesday in Paris in the context of three-day working visit, to explain the Moroccan initiative to grant autonomy to the Sahara, and identify autonomous successful models in overseas territories.
