The Republic of Panama, a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, considers the autonomy initiative as “the most serious, credible and realistic basis for resolving the regional dispute” over the Moroccan Sahara.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held talks, on Thursday in Rabat, with Christian Cambon, President of the France-Morocco Friendship Group in the French Senate, who is leading a high-level delegation on a working visit to the Kingdom.

The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), held on June 11 in Changsha, capital of China's Hunan province, followed on June 12 by the official inauguration of the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, once again clearly and unequivocally confirmed that the so-called “sadr” has no legitimacy or place in Sino-African cooperation mechanisms.

Morocco denounced, on Tuesday before the UN Committee of 24 (C-24), the obstinacy and intransigence of Algeria, which is holding the Sahara political process hostage to the detriment of regional stability.

The Republic of Ghana considers the autonomy plan presented by the Kingdom of Morocco as the only realistic and sustainable basis for a mutually acceptable solution to the Sahara issue.
