Saudi Arabia reiterated Tuesday in New York, its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Morocco, highlighting the Kingdom's efforts to find a political and realistic solution to the Moroccan Sahara question.

The UN Security Council (UNSC) held in the middle of this week closed-door consultations on the Moroccan Sahara issue, during which the Council members were briefed by Martha Pobee, UN Assistant Secretary-General for Africa in the Departments of Political Affairs and Peace Operations, and Alexander Ivanko, UN Secretary General's Personal Representative and Head of MINURSO.
