The Moroccan autonomy plan "promotes realism and compromise for a lasting solution to the Sahara issue," said Wednesday in New York, the Ambassador, Deputy Permanent Representative of Sierra Leone to the UN.

The United Arab Emirates reiterated, in New York, its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative with a view to achieving a final solution to the Sahara issue, while rejecting "any attack" on the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.

Bahrain reaffirmed, before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, its support for a political solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue, in the framework of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom.

Kuwait reaffirmed, on Monday before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, its support for the territorial integrity of Morocco.

Jordan reiterated, on Tuesday before the 4th Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative, which is "in harmony with the relevant resolutions of the Security Council and the General Assembly", while welcoming the efforts of the Kingdom aimed at the development of its southern provinces and the improvement of the living conditions of their population.
