President of the Centrist Union group in the French Senate Hervé Marseille invited France and the European Union to "follow" the step of the U.S. Administration and recognize, as well, Morocco's full and complete sovereignty over the Sahara.

Louis Michel, Former State Minister, and Jacques Brotchi, honorary President of the Belgian Senate issued on Saturday a joint statement, in which they ask the European Union to back the autonomy solution under Morocco's sovereignty for the resolution of the regional conflict over the Sahara.

The fate of the thousands of Sahrawi children kidnapped from Tindouf, Algeria, to Cuban camps was at the center of a virtual meeting organized by the Think Tank Polisens in Ottawa, in the light of the "Vancouver Principles on Peacekeeping and the Prevention of Recruitment and the Use of Child Soldiers".
