Member of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas) Saadani Maoulainine, asked last Thursday in Geneva Polisario leaders respect the promotion and protection of children rights and participate seriously in the establishment in the Sahara, of the peaceful and just autonomy solution proposed by the Kingdom of Morocco.

The Sahara is an "integral part of the Moroccan territory," stresses the "Laayoune Declaration" adopted by the 3rd Morocco-Pacific Island States forum, which ended Friday.

The Republic of Burundi inaugurated, on Friday, a consulate general in Laayoune, the sixth diplomatic representation opened in the capital of Moroccan Sahara in less than three months.

The Spanish Congress of Deputies (lower house of Parliament) on Tuesday unanimously adopted a motion calling for a "just, lasting and mutually acceptable solution" to the Sahara issue.

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas) takes part, within the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in the work of the 43rd session of the Human Rights Council (HRC) which started yesterday Monday February 24, 2020 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva and will continue until March 20.
