Grenada hailed on Monday at the United Nations in New York, the Moroccan autonomy initiative as a "viable proposal" for the final settlement of the Sahara conflict, while expressing its "unwavering support" for the ongoing political process under the auspices of the United Nations.

Jordan reiterated, before the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, its support for Morocco's autonomy initiative as a "serious and realistic" basis to end the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres once again highlighted in his latest report to the Security Council that the situation in the Moroccan Sahara remains calm and that Morocco's investments continue in its southern provinces.

Guatemala expressed Monday, in front of the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative in the Sahara, which constitutes a "realistic, credible and serious basis" for the settlement of this dispute
