President of the Republic of the Congo, Denis Sassou N'Guesson commended Morocco’s efforts to reach a negotiated political solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The United Nations Security Council extended, on Friday, MINURSO's mandate for six months (until October 31st, 2018) and reaffirmed the pre-eminence of the Moroccan autonomy initiative to resolve the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.

AThe Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met Thursday, April 26, 2018, with Fernando Meza Moncada, Speaker of the Andean Parliament, including representatives of Parliaments of Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.

The new Morocco-EU fisheries partnership protocol should take account of the Kingdom's higher interests, which are not negotiable, notably its territorial integrity, said, Thursday in Rabat, minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita.

The Council of the European Union (EU) adopted, Monday, the negotiating mandate confirming the continuation of the partnership between Morocco and the EU in the fisheries sector, said a European source.
