Burundi called Monday on the parties concerned to favor a political solution based on realism and spirit of compromise to resolve the conflict in the Sahara, and thus contribute to stability and security in the Sahel.

Sierra Leone said on Tuesday before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly that it "fully supports" Morocco's autonomy initiative in the Sahara, which is "in line with international standards for the delegation of authority to local populations".

Venezuela affirmed, on Monday in New York, its support for the negotiation process under the auspices of the United Nations, in order to reach a "negotiated" solution to the artificial conflict around the Moroccan Sahara.

Equatorial Guinea requested on Tuesday the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly to register the populations of the Tindouf camps.

Jordan reiterated, on Tuesday before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, its support for the autonomy initiative, presented by Morocco as a solution to the conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.
