HM King Mohammed VI stressed Friday that the "massive participation" of the southern provinces in the last elections is an "additional democratic proof of the Sahara inhabitants attachment to territorial integrity and political system of their country".

The European Union calls all parties to the Sahara issue to seek a negotiated settlement, said Vice-president of the European commission, Fedredica Mogherini.
