The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs takes part in the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco in the twenty-eighth session of the Human Rights Council, which started its proceedings Monday second day of March at the Conference Palace in Geneva.

The European Parliament’s Budgetary Control Commission deplored that the EU’s anti-fraud office (OLAF) did not recommend the recovery of the embezzled aid sent to the population in the camps of Tindouf in south-western Algeria.

The Committee on Budgetary Control of the European parliament called on the European Commission to adapt the aid it sends to Tindouf camps to the real needs of the population on grounds of the embezzlement by Algeria and the Polisario that was disclosed in a report by the European anti-fraud office (OLAF).

The bodies and organizations of civil society in the region of Oued Ed-Dahab-Lagouira welcomed the holding in Dakhla of the Crans Montana Forum (March 12-14) under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, in view of the positive impact that this event will have on the economic and development in this region.

The Sahara issue is a Moroccan-Algerian problem and Polisario has no weight in this artificial conflict, said Tuesday speaker of the House of Councillors, Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah.
