The Moroccan people celebrate two famous occasions inspiring spirit of loyalty, lifelong infatuation and close cohesion between the glorious Alawite throne and people. The 61st anniversary of the King and People’s Revolution and the People (August 20) shows the best moments of cohesion in the national struggle of the heroic people of Morocco under the leadership of the glorious Alawite throne, and Youth Day (August 21) illustrates the concern of His Majesty King Mohammed VI about the status of that segment of the population for their involvement in building the future of the nation.

The Throne day speech confirms that “there is no room for wait-and-see attitudes” concerning the Sahara issue

 “We confirm our commitment to grant our southern provinces autonomy ( and…) we are about to establish advanced regionalization”

His Majesty King Mohammed VI  delivered to the nation on Wednesday July 30, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the throne day, he recalled that the question of the  Sahara is the cause of all Moroccans, calling for “greater vigilance and across-the-board mobilization. I also recommend that the necessary measures be taken to remain one step ahead of our opponents’ schemes.  Indeed, there is no room for wait-and-see attitudes, reliance on others or reactive behavior.”
