The 9th round of informal talks on Western Sahara ended Tuesday afternoon in Manhasset, outside New York, with a concrete result: parties will meet in June and July this year for a new round of negotiations.

Morocco’s plan for granting the disputed territory of Western Sahara autonomous status is the only realistic proposal for the territory, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said Wednesday.
