Morocco’s plan for granting the disputed territory of Western Sahara autonomous status is the only realistic proposal for the territory, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said Wednesday.

Two representatives of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Mrs. Saadani Maouelainin and Mr. Ahmed M'ghizlat participate with the Moroccan delegation in the 19th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), which began February 27 and continues until March 23, 2012.

U.S. Secretary of State reiterated, on Sunday in Rabat, her country’s positing in support of efforts to find a mutually agreeable solution to the Sahara conflict.

The ninth round of informal talks on Western Sahara, under the UN aegis, will take place on March 11, 12 and 13 in Manhasset, New York outskirts.
