Mr. Khalihenna Ould Rachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), received on Monday at the Council’s headquarters, an official delegation from Paraguay chaired by Mr. Hector Ricardo Lacognata, Minister of External Relations.

Morocco's Foreign Minister insisted on Tuesday that the Moroccan authorities will never tolerate malicious activities carried out by the enemies of the north African kingdom's territorial integrity.

The Moroccan autonomy proposal is "interesting for the settlement, through dialogue under the aegis of the UN, of the Sahara conflict that has lasted over 35 years, said Tuesday in Rabat, the Mayor of Barcelona Mr. Jordi Hereu, currently visiting the Kingdom.

Former Spanish Prime Minister, Felipe Gonzalez, voiced his support to Morocco's proposal to grant autonomy to its southern provinces, the Sahara, underlining that the initiative will secure specific rights to the Sahrawis under the Moroccan sovereignty.
