Moroccan Foreign Minister, Taib Fassi Fihri, said, on Tuesday, that Morocco is ready to promote its relations with Algeria to make progress towards a solution to the Sahara issue, under the aegis of the United Nations.

Gambian Foreign Minister, Omar Toury, on Monday reiterated his country's support to the Moroccan sovereignty over its southern provinces, the Sahara.

 U.S. expert, J.Peter Pham called to "move ahead" in the settlement of the Sahara issue along the lines of Morocco's proposal for autonomy, the "only realistic course."

HRH Grand Duke of Luxembourg has emphasized the relevance of the proposal of greater autonomy submitted by Morocco to the United Nations to find a political solution to the conflict and expressed the hope that a new momentum can be created through the Moroccan initiative. 

The consensual solution proposed by Morocco to settle the Sahara issue under its territorial integrity is in line with the principle of autonomy, Moroccan Foreign Minister said.
