Corcas works of the extraordinary sesssion started on Friday evening in Laayoune at the Palais des Congrès, pursuant to the instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

During the press conference which was attended by all members of the Moroccan delegation, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs said that the Moroccan autonomy initiative is subject to development, despite its integration and harmony, and has been the subject of partial discussion within negotiations, he said in this context:

Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, said that the first round of negotiations on the Sahara issue, which was held under the auspices of the United Nations on 18 and 19 June in Manhasset (New York), was a "success" as "we have reached a ground where dialogue can be built.
