The Republic of Guinea expressed before the C24 committee its support for Morocco's autonomy initiative, a compromise solution for the regional dispute over the Sahara.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries reiterated their unwavering support for the Moroccanness of the Sahara and the Kingdom's territorial integrity, during the C24 annual meeting.

Burkina Faso on Friday reaffirmed its support for the autonomy plan initiative presented by Morocco, stressing that this plan is "the only credible and realistic solution" to resolve the dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Israeli Parliament (Knesset) Speaker Amir Ohana asserted, on Thursday in Rabat, that Israel should move forward with recognizing Morocco's sovereignty over its Sahara.

Morocco's ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Omar Hilale, called, in Oslo, on the international community to take "firm and urgent" measures against the military enrolment of children in the Tindouf camps by the "polisario" armed group, and to prevent them from becoming "tomorrow's extremists and terrorists".
