The autonomy plan presented by Morocco as the only solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara was widely and strongly supported during the regional seminar of the UN Committee of 24 (C24) for the Pacific, held from May 11 to 13 in Castries, Saint Lucia.

The head of the Algerian delegation to the C24 seminar, currently held in St. Lucia, Nadir El Arabaoui lost his nerves and attacked Bahiya Ghalla, vice-president of the Dakhla Oued Eddahab region, in the first words of his speech, for having mentioned the human rights situation in the Tindouf camps in Algeria.

Several foreign ministers have stressed or reiterated their support for the Moroccan autonomy plan, as a credible and serious solution to the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, giving at the same time its full measure to an active diplomacy and in full deployment.

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas) is represented by Moulay Ahmed Mghizla in the delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, which participates in the Caribbean Regional Seminar for 2022, which opened yesterday in the capital of Saint Lucia, Castries .
